Client challenge
Give every gala a distinct visual identity while creating content that works across the InterContinental Miami ballroom’s screens, staging, lighting, show flow, and the emotional rhythm of a major fundraising event.

Case study · Digital content · Gala experiences
A collection of cinematic worlds created for Make-A-Wish Ball productions at the InterContinental Miami, using animation and immersive event content to transform the ballroom and support each year’s live experience.

Behind the experience
Give every gala a distinct visual identity while creating content that works across the InterContinental Miami ballroom’s screens, staging, lighting, show flow, and the emotional rhythm of a major fundraising event.
Gala guests, donors, sponsors, performers, event partners, and the Make-A-Wish community.
MIA Animation provided creative direction, animation, motion design, and production of large-format digital content used throughout multiple themed ball experiences at the InterContinental Miami.
Build a complete visual world for each theme. Rather than treating screens as decoration, the content establishes atmosphere, supports transitions, and helps make the evening feel like one continuous story.
Large-format animation, motion graphics, 2D and 3D content, compositing, multi-screen media, and live-event playback preparation.
Each edition moved from theme exploration and visual development into storyboarding, asset creation, animation, review, and final delivery calibrated to the event’s technical environment.
A recurring portfolio of gala content spanning multiple themes and years, created for the InterContinental Miami’s large ballroom environment and synchronized with the wider production design.
The work gave each ball its own cinematic identity and created a growing body of event content—from Mystical Music Box and Summer of Love to Galactica, Oculus, Circo, and other themed experiences.
